FRENCH SPEAKING SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Key Competencies:
· Compile and analyze financial information in order to prepare financial statements;
· Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and
procedures;
· Prepare monthly accounts reconciliations;
· Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reports;
· Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met;
· Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control
procedures;
· Financial audit preparation, and coordination of the audit process;
· Supervise junior and assistant accountants.
Skills Required:
· As a minimum requirement, the candidate must have completed their Bac (Matric / A’
Levels / High school certificate) and at least 5 years post Matric Studies (Accounting /
Finance) in France;
· A minimum of 2 years accounting experience in France;
· French mother tongue, the ideal candidate will have studied in France. Excellent oral and
written English;
· Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and procedures;
· Ability to meet targets based on productivity and effectiveness;
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office;
· Attention to detail and accuracy, with sound analytical skills;
· Must be firm when dealing with people, persuasive, persistent, and self-motivated;
· S/he must be able to work well under pressure and be able to relate well with people
from a variety of backgrounds.
