| RF field Technician Ikwezi Maintenance and Communications (Pty) Ltd has a vacant position for a RF Technician to perform Field Support. The Field Support will be done in Western Cape - region. The field support technician responsibilities will be to maintain High Sites including the subsystems on the site e.g. Battery, Solar panels, Radio equipment, tower maintenance, and general environmental preventive maintenance. Reporting to head office program / project manager on a regular basis regarding progress reports. Candidates must have a minimum qualification of N4 with at least 4 years practical experience in Radio Repairs and Field Support. Additional experience that will be an advantage: 1. Computer literacy (MS word & MS Excel) 2. Use of test instruments to repair and test radio equipment, repeaters, antennas etc. Spectrum analyzer e.g. (HP, Marconi), Bird Watt meter and other test instrumentation 3.
