Plant Engineer

Challenging and rewarding position has become available at an international company that manufactures feeding systems for animals.


Key Performance Areas will be -

1. Administration:
Liaise with subcontractors; Project administration; Technical reporting; Industry Manuals; Formulate technical tasks; Assist with cost calculations of workstations.

2. Quality Control / Quality Assurance:
Configuration of technical drawings to ISO9001 procedure; Machinery; Control, test and design of test machinery; Complete internal ISO audits; Provide advice for auger and chain quality problems.

3. Technical / Maintenance Management:
Managing and technical leadership to maintenance team; Implement specified maintenance policy; Keep maintenance / plant meetings; Approval of new designs and maintenance purchases; Stock control; Project management and coordination; Draw technical designs on AutoCAD; Revise and update technical drawings; Develop and improve processes, plant and operational equipment; Design integration; Dispatch drawings to workshop and maintenance personnel.

4. Staff and general duties.

Salary: Market related salary including benefits.

Qualification and Experience (non negotiable):
Higher Education Mechanical Engineering;
Minimum 5 years in managerial position.
