INCAPACITY LEAVE ASSESSOR
STELLENBOSCH (CAPE TOWN)


Company in Stellenbosch seeking to employ an individual on a short term contract basis (approximately 6 - 8 months) to perform the functions of an Incapacity Leave Assessor.

The following will be required from the ideal candidate:

Degree in Occupational
Therapy or Nursing;

Experience in claims assessment would be beneficial but not essential;

Good knowledge of medical conditions and insight into the influence on the ability to work (clinical judgement);

Comfortable with medical terminology and latest treatment trends;

Excellent analytical and report-writing skills;

Computer literate (the ability to use Microsoft Office);

Good command of the English language;

Good communication skills and the ability to interact in a multidisciplinary team;

Deadline driven;

Comfortable working in a corporate environment.
