Sales Consultant – Hygiene & Sanitation Chemicals
Cape Town
Our client in the chemical industry seeks to employ a sales consultant.
The company philosophy is to work in partnership with their clients, to provide a total service of needs analysis, product formulation and testing, staff training and technical support that adds up to an efficient and cost effective hygiene system that works for their clients.

Their mission is to satisfy customer cleaning and hygiene needs by providing superior products, systems and services at affordable cost, whilst being committed to protecting the environment and respecting the dignity of their colleagues.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY;
Service, Retain and Expand Existing Customer Base and Sales within the food & beverage/food service industry.
Ensure the continuous development and expansion of new business within the various target markets.
Carry out training on products, dilutions, applications and the safe handling of products to all end-users.

The successful candidate should have the following experience/skills:

Grade 12
5 years experience in Sales and Marketing
Diploma or equivalent qualification in Sales and Marketing would be an advantage
A food technology qualification an advantage
Computer literate
Valid unendorsed Code 08 Drivers Licence.

Positive confident and outgoing personality
Well Presented
Assertive
Excellent presentation skills
Thorough knowledge of MS Office is a requirement
Good verbal and written communication skills
Be able to work under pressure
Healthy disposition
Must be able to travel/ sleep away from home
