| Risk Agent The role overview: The Risk Agent will be to evaluate and monitor clients via transactional screening. This fast paced role, operating in real time requires an individual who has immense attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. The agent will learn and apply certain imperative policies when making judgements. Problem solving skills are a constant requirement in the position, where the agent is required to stay abreast of current and emerging risks within the online transactional industry. The role of the Risk Agent is to: •Full and accurate assessments of all accounts, transactions and related documentation •Review client transaction and ensure that detailed and accurate updates are recorded •Evaluate client accounts and take appropriate as per our policies •Check all account information by using internal control reviews and record comprehensive details on each instance •Send appropriate requests for documentation •Review documents received for legitimacy •Ensure all requirements are met and accurate updates are entered on the system •Withhold the release of certain transactions when required to do so (via direct order or judgement), as per our risk acceptance criteria •Report and record details of clients that do not meet legitimacy standards •Extract information and review reports for incongruencies Who we are looking for: The candidate is to possess the following key attributes/ pre-requisites: •A minimum of tertiary education where one must have taken risk management, accounting, numerate or statistical subjects •Able to demonstrate ability via past, concrete experience in managing risk within a banking or other credit environment •Posses strong, meticulous and analytical judgement skills and initiative •Able to work independently and efficiently in a highly pressurized environment with tight schedules •Excellent written and verbal communication skills •Good team player The candidate must be willing to work the following shifts on a weekly rotational basis - 07:00- 16:00, 14:00- 23:00, 22:00- 07:00.
